Viagra has always been known as a potential erectile dysfunction treatment pill. It is quite common and easily available to people. However, in addition to its use as an ED treatment pill, it has recently received approval for its use among men with severe coronary artery disease. The approval has come as a result of a study recently published in one of the famous journals of medicine. This news actually led to a discussion among physicians and heart patients who wished to take the medication.

With millions of men around the world experiencing impotence and also some kind of heart disease, the researchers felt there was a strong need to find out if the use of Viagra was dangerous to heart patients. The risk factors for both erectile dysfunction and heart disease include older age, high blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and diabetes.

To resolve this confusion, a study was conducted in which men with both these problems were used as participants. They were given Viagra and then carefully monitored. Measurements of their arterial blood pressure, pulmonary capillary, pulmonary artery pressures, heart rate, and cardiac output were recorded. It was found that there were no major changes in coronary blood flow, heart rate, or cardiac output. It was also observed that there was a slight reduction in systemic vascular resistance and pulmonary vascular resistance.

Thus the measurements concluded that Viagra does not negatively affect men diagnosed with severe coronary artery disease. In fact, the drug improves the men's coronary blood flow reserve. The American Heart Association also supports Viagra’s use if the patient's heart condition is stable and they are not undergoing treatment involving the use of nitrates.

So men with any kind of heart problem, don’t panic, relax and use Viagra as you desire. You can buy Viagra online as it is cheap and effective, and yes definitely safe for you.
